 rent and future managers of teams that build or use data science technolog
 ies\, as well as general audiences interested in understanding the broader
  societal and managerial consequences of such technologies. Participants w
 ill gain an understanding of modern data science in organizations – key te
 chnologies\, vocabularies\, processes\, and people.\n\nTeaching Approach:
 \n\nThe instructor's approach is to introduce key concepts and immediately
  have participants enrich their understanding by applying the knowledge to
  analyze real data. The workshop consists of two 45-minute modules\, each 
 comprising of a 25-minute lecture\, 10 minutes of team-based analysis\, an
 d 10 minutes of presentations.\n\nThe modules are:\n\n1) Data and Data Sci
 ence: What is data and what makes it 'good'? What is data science and what
  do data scientists do?\n\n2) AI: What is artificial intelligence (AI) and
  what does/can it do in organizations?\n\nPrerequisites: \n\n\n	This worksh
 op is designed for cross-discipline audiences from undergraduates to profe
 ssionals. No background in management or computer science is required.\n	Pa
