 5-day workshop is an introductory\, short course on deep learning. It is d
 esigned for anyone who wishes to obtain basic knowledge of machine learnin
 g and explore deep learning from scratch. The workshop provides you with a
  practical introduction to basic and selected topics on deep learning thro
 ugh the Keras framework in Python.\n\nThe outcomes of this workshop includ
 e knowledge of:\n	     - The building blocks of neural networks\n	     - Int
 roduction to Keras and TensorFlow\n	     - Classification and regression wi
 th neural networks\n	     - Fundamentals and workflows of machine learning
 \n	     - Deep learning for time series (and text)\n\nPrerequisites:\n	     
 - Basic Python programming experience. Familiarity with NumPy library woul
 d be helpful\, however it is not required.\n	     - High school-level mathe
 matics.\n\nDate: Monday to Friday\, 22 to 26 August\, 2022.\n	Time: 10 a.m.
  to 3:30 p.m. (with a lunch break from 12 to 1:30).\n	Location: Burnside Ha
 ll room 511 (5th floor)\, inside the Geographic Information Center.\n	Instr
