  familiar with the integrated development environment RStudio\n	> Understan
 d the different types of variables in R (data types and data structures)\n
 	> Be able to write simple scripts\n	> Understand how to load and use librar
 ies\n	> Be able to use control flow to automate your scripts\n	> Know how to
  get help\n\nPrerequisites: \n	· Knowledge of filesystems would be helpful 
 (e.g. from Understanding filesystems workshop).\n	· Install R and RStudio o
 n your computer. You can find installation instructions here. Please conta
 ct us (cdsi.science [at] mcgill.ca) if you are having trouble with install
 ation.\n	· You need to bring your own laptop for this workshop. Contact us 
 if you would like to attend but it's impossible for you to bring a laptop
