ɬ�﷬’s 2025 fundraising campaign for Centraide reached its target, thanks to the support of ɬ�﷬’s employees, students, retirees and members of the Board of Governors.

The University aimed to raise $400,000; the final total was $401,766.60. All funds go to local organizations fighting poverty and social exclusion. It was ɬ�﷬’s 50th Centraide campaign.

ɬ�﷬'s 2025 Centraide campaign featured multiple giveaways, including two tickets to the see the Montréal Victoire take on the Toronto Sceptres at the Bell Centre on Dec. 27.

The lucky winner was Sarah Taciani, who attended the match with a friend.

The Sceptres held on for a 2-1 win over the Victoire, but Taciani was among over 18,000 fans who enjoyed the third annual Duel at the Top event; her photos are below.

It was nearly impossible to choose, but voters have crowned Sir James, submitted by Candace Miller, the inaugural winner of ɬ�﷬'s Cutest Pet Photo Contest.

A true knight in life, Sir James once saved a toddler from a dangerous fall. Although he lost his battle to cancer in 2024, he continues to make a difference by supporting ɬ�﷬'s Centraide campaign, helping those who need it most.

Sir James was followed by Milo, submitted by Adriana Vitullo, and Sarah, submitted by Chandra A. Madramootoo.

ɬ�﷬'s Centraide Campaign is raffling off two tickets to see the Montréal Victoire take on the Toronto Sceptres, and you could be there!

Enter for the chance to attend the Montréal Victoire's third annual Duel at the Top game, which aims to set a new PWHL attendance record at the Bell Centre.

Match: Saturday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m.

As a longtime workplace donor, Centraide has designated ɬ�﷬ as the recipient of two free roundtrip economy airline tickets to a destination in the south or to Europe, courtesy of Air Transat.

They’ll be raffled off to a ɬ�﷬ employee who donates to Centraide via payroll deductions between November 4 - December 12 (the deadline has been extended). New and existing ɬ�﷬ payroll donors will all be entered to win!

ɬ�﷬ has kicked off its annual fundraising campaign in support of Centraide of Greater Montreal, a charitable organization helping the most vulnerable members of society.

Centraide supports over 375 local agencies and projects, helping one in five people in Greater Montreal. ɬ�﷬ aims to raise $400,000.

ɬ�﷬’s latest Centraide fundraising campaign raised a total of $412,125 for local residents living in vulnerable situations.

All donations support Centraide of Greater Montreal, which aims to break the cycle of poverty by supporting children, housing, inclusive communities and a strong social fabric.

“As Co-Chair of the Centraide campaign, I am grateful for all contributors this year,” said Christopher Manfredi, Provost and Executive Vice-President (Academic). “Your support is positively impacting those in vulnerable situations within our communities.”
