 issue in recent years\, as much in urban policies as in the academic and a
 ssociative worlds. Urban densification and density are polysemous concepts
  that can be mobilized by players in the fields of planning\, ecology\, an
 thropology\, community living and urban social justice.\n\nThis study day 
 will bring these worlds into dialogue\, through presentations in the morni
 ng and participatory workshops in the afternoon\, with the aim of jointly 
 outlining solutions to the present and future challenges of 21st-century M
