  and other inflammatory diseases'.Dr. Jeffrey V. Ravetch\, 2012 Canada Gai
 rdner International Laureate\, Theresa & Eugene M. Lang Professor of The R
 ockefeller University\, New York\, USA  will also deliver a lecture. Dr. R
 avetch’s talk is entitled\, “Fc structural diversity dictates diverse biol
 ogical functions '. Dr. Ravetch was recognized in 2012 for his for his sem
 inal work on identifying the Fc receptors of antibodies\, which play a key
  role in the immune response\, and for establishing their critical role in
  autoimmune diseases and cancer. The 2014 Gairdner National Program Lectur
 e will take place on Tuesday\, October 28\, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Jeann
