 Night\, with a public lecture by Prof. René Doyon.  He is a professor at t
 he Université de Montréal working in the field of astronomical instrumenta
 tion\, and in particular applied to the detection of planets outside our S
 olar System.  His public lecture is entitled: 'The quest for life outside 
 the Solar System'. The lecture will be followed by night sky observations 
 (weather permitting) and a tour of an experimental astrophysics laboratory
 . This event is intended for a general audience\, and it is free of charge
 . No reservation is necessary. Snacks and refreshments will be served (ple
