I Medici di ɬ﷬ ensemble is distin ctive as an institution at the University\, perhaps the only organized act ivity at the University that brings over 65 staff\, students\, alumni and friends together for regular social interactions and community outreach an d support\, such as these special concerts.\n\nMaestro Gilles Auger\, cond uctor\n\nBorn in Quebec City\, Gilles Auger is a graduate of the prestigio us Juilliard School of Music (New York) and a student of the late Leonard Bernstein. He is currently a conductor and teacher at the Quebec Conservat ory and music director of the Lévis Symphony Orchestra.\n\nStéphane Tétrea ult\, cellist \n\nA native of Montreal\, Stéphane is the Soloist-in-Reside nce of the Orchestre Métropolitain and the recipient of many awards and ho nors.   In 2016\, Stéphane made his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Nézet-Séguin and performed at the prestigio us Gstaad Menuhin Festival in Switzerland. Stéphane was a student of the l ate cellist and conductor Yuli Turovsky for more than 10 years.
