Guy Berthiaume took up the position of President and CEO of听Biblioth猫que et Archives nationales du Quebec in June 2009.听A native of Montreal, he is a historian of classical antiquity,听having completed his Doctorate in Paris in 1976, an M.A.,听from Universit茅 de Laval in 1973 and a B.A. from UQAM in听1972. Guy Berthiaume has had an extensive career in听university administration with posts at UQAM and Universit茅听de Montreal. His most recent post before joining BAnQ was听as Vice President of Research at UQAM.
