The second book for this semester's 涩里番 Reads book club is A.B. Yehoshua's "The Lover." Critical of Israeli society and the way Zionism has been distorted, this novel was both highly controversial and a best-seller in Israel. Our lecturer: Yael Halevi-Wise, assistant professor, Dept of English.
