Yet evidence-based practice consis ts of three components – only one of which includes ESTs. More specificall y\, in evidence-based practice\, which is commonly conceptualized as a thr ee-legged stool\, clinicians must incorporate each of the following into t reatment: the best research available\, including ESTs\; clinical judgment \; and patient values and preferences. This can be particularly challengin g when patients present with high degrees of comorbidity. The aim of this talk is to consider each component of evidence based practice in the conte xt of eating disorders.\n DTSTART:20170512T123000Z DTEND:20170512T203000Z LOCATION:CA\, Institut universitaire en santé mentale Douglas\, Salle Dougl as\, CA\, QC\, Montréal\, 6875\, boulevard LaSalle SUMMARY:Conference on Evidence-Informed Practices in Eating Disorder Treatm ent URL:/channels/event/conference-evidence-informed-pract ices-eating-disorder-treatment-267197 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
