Please join the Director of ɬÀ﷬’s School of Architecture\nf or an inside look at the cutting-edge research that is changing\nhow our c ommunities are constructed.\n\nMichael Jemtrud\, MArch’00\, is an Associat e Professor of\nArchitecture and Director of the School of Architecture at ɬÀï·¬.\nHe was the Founding Director of the Carleton Immersive Media Stu dio\nat Carleton University\, and is currently constructing a new\nresearc h unit at ɬÀï·¬ called the Facility for Architectural\nResearch in Media and Mediation (FARMM). His research agenda\nencompasses the investigation and development of new technologies\nand expertise in 3-D and time-based n ew media\, high-performance\nvisualization\, and network-based work enviro nments for remote\ndesign practices. His work emphasizes projects that bot h drive\ninnovation and complement traditional research in architecture\, \nurban design\, heritage preservation and related disciplines.
