 re her first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities\nfacing Mc
 Gill students (and their parents). In addition\, she will\noffer some stra
 tegies for how parents can contribute to the overall\nsuccess of their chi
 ld鈥檚 University experience.\nAbout Professor Cooke:\n\nNathalie Cooke\, BA
  (Queen鈥檚)\; MA (Cornell)\; BEd\, MA\, PhD\n(University of Toronto)\, join
 ed the 涩里番 Department of English in\n1991. She then became the Academic
  Program Director for the 涩里番\nInstitute of Canada in 2001\, Associate 
 Dean of Arts in 2006\, and\nPresident of Montreal鈥檚 CEGEP Vanier College i
 n 2008. Professor\nCooke鈥檚 research focuses on Canadian literature\, cookb
 ooks\, and the\n'history of taste.'\n\nThe event is free. Refreshments wil
