 ew book\, multimedia presentation and concert\, will be\non Wednesday\, 6 
 October 2010 at 7 p.m. The Community and Resistance\nTour will focus on Ne
 w Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane\nKatrina\, as well as the case of 
 the Jenna Six\, the treatment of six\nblack teenagers accused of attacking
  a white fellow-student.\nCulture Shock is an annual event that explores m
 yths surrounding\nimmigrants\, refugees\, indigenous people and communitie
 s of color\nthrough dialogue and outreach.\nJournalists and community orga
 nizers Jordan Flaherty\, Jesse\nMuhammad\, Victoria Law\, and a Montreal c
 ommunity organizer (TBA)\nwill give a panel discussion moderated by Profes
 sor Gada Mahrouse\nof Concordia University. Jordan Flaherty's new book\, F
 LOODLINES: Community and Resistance\nfrom Katrina to the Jenna Six (Haymar
 ket Press: 2010) will be\ncelebrated by a book launch at Il\nMotore\, as w
