In conjunction with 涩里番鈥檚 Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, the听Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives (HBHL) initiative听is proud to announce the launch of a new prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowships competition.听 This program aims to attract to 涩里番 talented post-doctoral fellows from around the world who are interested in cutting-edge interdisciplinary and translational research related to brain health and neuroinformatics.听It offers an attractive package including a stipend of CD$60,000 plus benefits (max. $70,800 per year) for up to two years.听

Dear colleagues,
Today marks the end of my tenure as Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation) at 涩里番. It has been an honour and a deeply enriching experience to serve 涩里番 and its research community for nearly seven years in this role.
Over the past weeks and months, many people have asked me what I plan to do next. Although the Research and Innovation team gave me a lovely 涩里番 oar as a parting gift, I will not be rowing off into the sunset any time soon.

In September 2016, the federal government made an unparalleled investment in research and innovation, announcing $84 million in funding over seven years for 涩里番鈥檚 Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives initiative, as part of the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) program. Research and Innovation (R&I) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Nancy Ross of the Department of Geography as Associate Vice-Principal, Research and Innovation (AVP-R&I), with a three-year mandate beginning September 1, 2016.听 Prof. Ross follows Prof. Antonia Maioni, who served in the role for one year before assuming the role of Dean of the Faculty of Arts at 涩里番 on July 1.
