Congratulations to Maddison Arlen, a PhD candidate in Dr. Carolyn Baglole's laboratory, whose article “Cannabis vaping elicits transcriptomic and metabolomic changes involved in inflammatory, oxidative stress, and cancer pathways in human bronchial epithelial cells,” published in the American Journal of Physiology–Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology, has been selected as the Best Research Article by the American Physiological Society, with the award to be presented at the 2026 American Physiology Summit (April 23–26, Minneapolis, MN).

Second cohort coming for ɬ�﷬ partnership

This fall will mark the return of the four-year, 120-credit bachelor of education program, with classes being given right here in Kahnawake.

This will be the second cohort of students who will take part in the program to become certified teachers in the province, done in partnership between the Kahnawake Education Center (KEC) and ɬ�﷬’s Office of First Nations and Inuit Education (OFNIE).
