DESCRIPTION:This panel of youth in care alumni will share their personal st
 ories and present the realities and challenges associated with aging out o
 f care while attending a post-secondary education institution. Some of the
  barriers that are in place that prevent many youth in care alumni from gr
 aduating will be discussed\, some strengths and resilience factors that co
 me into play\, as well as recommendations for policy and practice for soci
 al workers\, educators\, professors and PSE administration. Panelists will
  include members of the Montreal Youth in Care Alumni Student Association 
 (MYCASA) Ashley Dawn Louise Bach\, Melanie Doucet\, Destiny Gregoire\, Mar
 celle Partouche and Yuan Stevens. The presentation will be followed by a d
 ialogue and discussion with the audience.\n
