For example\, the early develop mental period is a sensitive window for clinical outcomes\; however\, it i s not known how access to early intervention relates to receiving other se rvices later as the child ages. Further\, there is pressing need to unders tand the dynamics of service utilization through the emerging adulthood pe riod for these children after leaving secondary school. In this presentati on\, various sociodemographic\, clinical and systemic factors will be expl ored as mediators of service access in children and emerging adults using data from a pan-Canadian survey completed by 3251 caregivers reporting on 3317 family members with autism. Results and discussion of relevant factor s including intellectual disability status and contextual factors (such as being in school or work) on how services are accessed will take place.\n \nFor more information on CRCF's research seminars\, please click here.\n DTSTART:20170412T160000Z DTEND:20170412T170000Z LOCATION:Wendy Patrick room (room 118)\, Wilson Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2A7\, 3506 rue University SUMMARY:Research Seminar - Service Receipt for Individuals with Autism acro ss Canada: Findings from a Canadian National Survey by Jonathan Lai URL:/crcf/channels/event/research-seminar-service-rece ipt-individuals-autism-across-canada-findings-canadian-national-survey-267 242 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
