 es the existence of widespread jurisdictional ambiguities and underfunding
  in health and social services for First Nations children.  The research p
 resented in the report indicates that jurisdictional ambiguities and under
 funding give rise to gaps and disparities in the services available to Fir
 st Nations children. It further suggests that\, as a result\, First Nation
 s children can encounter differential standards of service\, require incre
 ased-intensity interventions by health and social service systems\, and ev
