After an educational presentation by the hosts\, there wi ll be an opportunity to share your own concerns and ask questions.\n\nThe  Caring Conversations platform permits people to participate online and by telephone. Ms. Barylak has developed evidence-based traini ng for seniors and caregivers\, and she lectures in the field of social ge rontology and knowledge transfer. She facilitates “Dear Lucy\,” an online caregiver support show funded by the WellMed Foundation in the U.S. She wa s the founder and long-standing manager of the Caregiver Support Centre at the CLSC Rene-Cassin\, a multi-service respite centre for family and info rmal caregivers. Ms. Barylak received the Queen’s Jubilee Award for her ro le in developing a national coalition to support caregivers across Canada. \n\nJoanne Besner\, BSW\, MBA\, PPCC\, and caregiver\, received her Bachel or of Social Work and Master of Business Administration from ɬ﷬ Univer sity\, and a Professional Coaching designation from the John Molson Execut ive Centre at Concordia University. Ms. Besner coaches and facilitates wor kshops for health care professionals and community organizations\, includi ng the ɬ﷬ School of Social Work\, where she is also an inte rnship liaison supervisor.
