Assistant Professor Dr. Didem Dagdeviren has been nominated as the Director of the Division of Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, and Oral Radiology, effective May 1,听2025.听
Dr. Dagdeviren听holds a DDS and PhD from Hacettepe University in Turkey. She completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology combined with a Master of Dental Science at the University of Connecticut.听 She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. She also works as a听Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist in the Faculty's Student and Staff Dental Clinic.听
Dr. Didem Dagdeviren takes over the role from Dr. Peter Chauvin, who will be retiring from the Faculty on August 31. "I am confident that under Dr. Dagdeviren's leadership, this division will continue to thrive. I would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chauvin for his outstanding contributions and dedication during his tenure as Director. His leadership and commitment have been instrumental in advancing our division's goals and initiatives" says Dean Elham Emami.听
