ɬ﷬ Students and Faculty Present at 2025 International College of Prosthodontist Conference

The International College of Prosthodontists held its 21st biennial meeting in Toronto from September 2-5, 2025, on the theme of ‘Disruptive Paradigms in Prosthodontics’. The Faculty was well-represented by students, alumni and researchers in attendance, including several who made oral and poster presentations.

Oral Presentations

PhD student Jan Kwan gave two oral presentations on Critical Elements in All Implant & Restorative Connections: Redefining Stability Beyond Internal (as part of the ‘Beyond Implant Fables’ session), and Optimizing Implant Prosthodontics: Integrating a Hybrid Abutment for Improved Outcomes (as part of the ‘Shaping the Future’ session).

Dean Elham Emami was invited to speak on the final day of the conference, during the ‘Faceted Futures’ session. Her oral presentation was titled E-Health in Action and discussed what the WHO defines as “the cost-effective and secure use of information and communications technologies in support of health and health-related fields,” sharing her insight on the growing impact that E-Health has on the delivery of healthcare around the world today, as well as its future outlook.
