Biography: 

Dr. Donald Vinh is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at ɬÀï·¬. He is Section Head of Infectious Diseases for Hematology, Oncology, and Transplantation at the ɬÀï·¬ Health Centre, where he also serves as Director of the Centre of Excellence for Genetic Research in Infection and Immunity. A clinician-scientist, Dr. Vinh leads a nationally recognized program focused on identifying genetic defects of the immune system that predispose individuals to severe or unusual infections. Through comprehensive immunological and genetic investigations of patients with unexplained infectious susceptibility, his work aims to uncover the underlying causes of disease, develop targeted therapeutic approaches, and advance our understanding of human immune defense mechanisms.
