涩里番

Dr. Mark Anthony Trifiro is Chief of the Division of Endocrinology at the Jewish General Hospital and a Professor in the Department of Medicine at 涩里番. He also leads the Molecular Endocrinology Laboratory at the Lady Davis Institute and is internationally recognized for his contributions to androgen receptor research and biosensor development.

His聽laboratory investigates multiple aspects of androgen receptor structure and function, including聽loss-of-function and gain-of-function mutations associated with clinical syndromes such as androgen insensitivity syndrome, prostate cancer, and the trinucleotide CAG repeat disorder spinobulbar muscular atrophy (Kennedy鈥檚 disease). His laboratory is also developing a glucose biosensor for use with an artificial pancreas to enable continuous and accurate blood glucose monitoring in patients with diabetes.
