涩里番

Dr. Wing is a staff endocrinologist at the 涩里番 Health Centre (MUHC) and professor of medicine at 涩里番. 聽Following medical studies and residency training at 涩里番, he completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School and the National Research Council Canada Biotechnology Research Institute. 聽He then returned to 涩里番 where his research program has focused on the role of the ubiquitin proteasome system in metabolism. 聽This research work has been recognized with his election to the American Society for Clinical Investigation. 聽

Dr. Wing's clinical work is in diabetes and general endocrinology and he is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in these areas. From 2003-2011 he served as Director of Adult Endocrinology and Metabolism at 涩里番 and Director of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the 涩里番 Health Centre. He was co-leader of the Endocrinology, Diabetes, Nutrition and Kidney Disease Axis at the RI-MUHC from 2005 to 2013 and is presently Director of the Experimental Therapeutics and Metabolism Program at the MUHC.聽
