One word that comes up a lot in conversations with entrepreneurs is pivot. This refers to the common scenario where a major adjustment to the original plan needs to be made, and often very quickly. Generally these events are impossible to plan for, and typically fraught with risk. But are there ways to smooth the transition to new business models? Are there clear signposts that indicate a pivot needs to be made? And how can you be sure you have pivoted enough?
