The first virtual 涩里番 International Portfolio Competition (MIPC) drew 93 university teams from 18 countries to design portfolio strategies that address the rise of social inequalities and protectionism in the U.K.

A team from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a solo entry from Bocconi University in Milan each won the coveted $15,000 prize at the end of the competition. 涩里番 professor Sebastien Betermier, the faculty director of the competition, reflects on the factors that set this year鈥檚 winners apart from the competition.
