Call for Applications: D2R Award in Genomic Medicine and Indigenous Health

To mark the 25th anniversary of Génome Québec, ɬÀ﷬’s DNA to RNA (D2R) Initiative is launching a special call for applications for the D2R Award in Genomic Medicine and Indigenous Health. This one-time $25,000 award recognizes excellence and supports inclusive, high-impact research in these fields.

Applicant Eligibility:

This competition is open to faculty members at ɬÀï·¬, Université de Sherbrooke, and the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM). Applicants may be at any career stage and must demonstrate meaningful contributions to Genomic Medicine and Indigenous Health. Eligible disciplines include biomedical research, clinical research, social sciences, and studies on social determinants of health.

Award Announcement:

All applicants will be notified in October 2025. The award will be officially announced at the Rendez-Vous Génome Québec 2025 on October 23, 2025, in Montréal. The recipient must attend the ceremony and will receive a Notice of Award outlining terms and conditions.
