In a press release published by the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH), it was announced that the Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Institute of Genomic Medicine at ɬ﷬ has joined the alliance as a Host Institution. It is essential to adopt ways of doing things that promote the cultural safety of Indigenous peoples in the context of research.

This new report is the result of work by the Indigenous Health Research Program of the Unité de Soutien (SSA) of Quebec, the Department of Family Medicine at ɬ﷬, Joyce’s Principle, and the Tahatikonhsontóntie' Quebec Network Environment for Indigenous Health Research (Qc-NEIHR).
