Sc\n Cofounder and General Director\, Quebec Interuniversity Eq uity\, Diversity and Inclusion Network\n\nBibiana has always believed in t he importance of confronting the injustices experienced by the most margin alized groups in society and in creating inclusive environments for all. S he is the founder and Executive Director of the Quebec Interuniversity Net work for Equity\, Diversity and Inclusion (RIQEDI) — a non-profit organiza tion and a unique community of practice in EDI at the Canadian level. Thro ugh her leadership\, she brings together numerous individuals and organiza tions in collaborative projects related to equity\, diversity\, and inclus ion (EDI)\, expanding the network’s reach to private and public organizati ons as well as to francophone countries internationally.\n\nAs an expert i n EDI\, Bibiana contributes to and advises various EDI committees and deve lops innovative projects with research and governmental bodies\, as well a s within postsecondary and private sectors. Her collaborations include org anizations such as NSERC (Dimensions)\, Universities Canada\, 50–30 Challe nge\, FRQ\, Canada’s Social Finance Fund\, ISED\, Genome Québec\, MILA\, I VADO\, HEC Montréal\, Institut EDI2\, Université Laval\, Université du Qué bec en Outaouais\, Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue\, INRS\, Concordia University\, ɬÀï·¬\, and many others. She also volun teers her time for various projects supporting students and vulnerable com munities.\n\nWith a multidisciplinary background in political science\, La tin American studies\, and human resources/industrial relations management \, Bibiana has participated as a researcher in numerous research projects with different teams and has taught at both undergraduate and graduate lev els in subjects such as EDI\, sociology of work\, human resource managemen t\, and workplace ethics.\n\nTara Flanagan\n Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at ɬÀï·¬ Univ ersity\n\nTara has worked in the field of disability for 30 years and is a n Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of Educational and Couns elling Psychology at ɬÀï·¬. She served for seven years as the Chair of the Joint-Board Senate Subcommittee on Persons with Disabilities that is comprised of a wide array of students\, faculty and staff members across ɬÀï·¬ who are invested in recommending university polic y and in promoting a more inclusive environment. She also served for seven years as the Graduate Program Director in Inclusive Education. She recent ly served as the Chair of the Social Inclusion Working Group for the Canad ian Academy of Health Sciences’ Autism Assessment for a National Autism St rategy.\n\nShe is the Director of SPARC (Social Policy\, Advocacy\, Resear ch\, Community)\, a research team whose mandate is to promote social inclu sion by emphasizing self-determination\, community\, and participatory app roaches to research and practice (55 SPARC supervisees have graduated in M A\, MEd\, and PhD programs). Her scholarly interests and research grants a re in the areas of social inclusion\, inclusive employment\, transition fr om school to the community\, self-determination\, and quality of life amon g individuals with various types of disabilities and among other equity-se eking groups.\n\nMariloue Daudier\, M. Sc\n Senior Equity\, Diversity and I nclusion Advisor\, D2R\n\nMariloue is a Senior Equity\, Diversity and Incl usion Advisor at D2R. She earned a Bachelor’s degree of Social Work from M cGill University in 2013 and a Master’s degree of Social Innovation Manage ment from HEC Montréal in 2016. She has over ten years of experience in co ordinating equity\, diversity and inclusion (EDI) projects in many setting s\, including the social economy sector\, community organizations\, the pr ivate sector\, the Government of Canada (Social Sciences and Humanities Re search Council of Canada) and universities (the Office of Community Engage ment at Concordia University\, the IVADO initiative at Université de Montr éal and the General Secretariat at HEC Montréal). She is regularly invited as a speaker\, facilitator\, evaluator or trainer to share her expertise in EDI in different contexts.
