Program helps future teachers to manage their stress and their emotions

What is the best way to prepare future teachers for the emotional challenges they will face as they pursue their careers?

That鈥檚 the question that led 涩里番鈥檚 Faculty of Education to make well-being in education a strategic priority and create the聽Regulating Emotions and Stress for pre-Service Teachers Program (RESST), with the support of the Rossy Foundation.

Cyrille Mvomo achieved an outstanding double recognition at the IEEE-EMBS Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI) Conference held October 26-29 in Atlanta, GA, USA.聽 BHI is one of the world鈥檚 leading venues in digital health research.

Best Paper Award (Third Place) 鈥 for his paper 鈥淢onitoring Parkinson鈥檚 Disease In-the-Wild鈥.

KPE End of Semester Update

The KPE graduate committee (KPEG) is excited to announce that they are currently organizing a food drive, where all items will be donated to a women鈥檚 shelter in Montr茅al at the end of the Fall 2022 semester. Students, staff, and faculty of the department of KPE are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to hallway 101-A in the Currie Gymnasium building. We would like to remind everyone that any donation helps, and we are thankful to those who have donated thus far.
