 g climate and biodiversity crises\, this keynote highlights why Indigenous
 -led conservation is increasingly recognized as essential. Grounded in rel
 ational worldviews that center the responsibilities between land\, water\,
  and people\, Indigenous leadership reframes conservation from a technical
  process into a holistic\, culturally grounded practice. This approach not
  only strengthens ecological resilience but also supports national and int
 ernational climate and biodiversity commitments—offering a powerful pathwa
 y toward a more balanced and hopeful environmental future.\n\nAbout the Sp
 eaker\n\nDahti Tsetso is a leading voice in Indigenous-led conservation ac
 ross the Northwest Territories and Canada. In her previous role as Deputy 
 Director of the Indigenous Leadership Initiative (ILI)\, she coordinated t
 he collaborative negotiations that led to the NWT: Our Land for the Future
  Agreement (2024)\, uniting 22 Indigenous governments\, the Government of 
 the Northwest Territories\, the Government of Canada\, and private partner
 s to establish one of the world’s largest Indigenous-led land conservation
  trusts.\n\nHer leadership also contributed to the Edéhzhíe Establishment 
 Agreement (2018)\, creating a 14\,218 km² protected area recognized under 
 both Canadian and Dehcho Dene law\, as well as the development of the regi
 onal Dehcho K’éhodi stewardship and guardian program.\n\nWe hope you will
