Khandideh Williams is a PhD candidate in the Department of Family Medicine at ɬÀï·¬, supervised by Professor, Alayne Adams, PhD,  Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Mabel Carabali, MD, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, & Occupational Health. 

Her research was supported by a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship-Master’s Award from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), a Doctoral Training Award from the Fonds de Recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQ-S) in partnership with the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research Support Unit in Québec, and a Doctoral Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), among others.

Topic: Ethno-racial equity in Canadian health care: A mixed-methods study of health care experiences across racialized groups in Canada, with a focus on the Black population.
