 nité de soutien SRAP Québec\, is presenting 'Literature Reviews: Why We Ge
 t Lost and How to Find Our Way Around'\, a training workshop facilitated b
 y Quan Nha Hong\, erg\, MSc\, PhD Postdoctoral Fellow\, EPPI-Centre\, Univ
 ersity College London and the Institut national d’excellence en santé et e
 n services sociaux (INESSS)  (INESSS). \n	\n	Literature reviews represent a 
 large part of the scientific literature published and consulted by the sci
 entific and non-scientific community. Traditionally\, the methods used to 
 conduct literature reviews were not always well described. These journals 
 were criticized for their lack of objectivity and scientific rigour. To in
 crease scientific rigour\, researchers have developed methods to systemati
 ze the review process\, commonly referred to as 'systematic review'. Since
  then\, various types of literature reviews have been developed such as ra
 pid review\, journal review and scope review.\n	\n	Main objectives\n	The lear
 ning objectives of this workshop are to:\n\n\n	Distinguish between differen
 t types of reviews\;\n	Distinguish between synthesis methods\;\n	Understand 
 the process of producing a systematic review.\n\n\nProcedure\n	Face-to-face
