He is a long-standing associate with the Kahnawake Schools Diab etes Prevention Program.\n\n Richard Budgell\, Labrador Inuk\, developed th e first Canadian graduate course on Inuit health. With over 30 years of pu blic service in Indigenous health\, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and now focuses on projects such as Inuit cultural sa fety and urban Inuit health.\n\n Megan Légaré is a second year PhD student in the Family Medicine and Primary Care Program of Kanien’keha:ka and Euro pean settler heritage.
