 r their education as part of an experiment – they each went on to work for
  political change as they felt the need to reconnect with their cultural h
 eritage and home communities.\n\nThis week’s film\, Arctic Defenders\, tel
 ls the remarkable story that began in 1968 with a radical Inuit movement i
 n Canada. It led to the largest land claim in western civilization\, orche
 strated by young visionary Inuit with a dream -the governance of their ter
 ritory- the creation of Nunavut. At the same time\, the story reveals the 
 dark side of Canada's attempt at sovereignty in the north and finds hope a
 nd inspiration from determined Inuit who changed the rules of the game.\n
 \nɬÀï·¬'s Faculty of Education and The P. Lantz Initiative for Excellence
  in Education and the Arts present the 2018 season of the Weekly Indigenou
