Nancy Mayo

Professor Nancy MayoNANCY MAYO is a Distinguished James ɬÀï·¬ Professor, Department of Medicine (Divisions of Geriatrics, Experimental Medicine, and Clinical Epidemiology), and the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy (SPOT), ɬÀï·¬. She is an associate member at the Institute of Health Sciences Education. She leads a research program on Function, Disability and Quality of Life in Canada’s Vulnerable Populations. Trained originally as a Physical Therapist, Professor Mayo holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She is also co-founder and President of PhysioBiometrics Inc. dedicated to the development of accessible technologies for people with movement vulnerabilities. She has more than 350 life-time publications and supervised over 120 graduate students, 38 at the PhD level.
