 s Education\n\nThe goal of this opportunity is to promote excellence and s
 cholarship in health sciences education (HSE) by providing a one-year stip
 end of $15\,000 to a faculty member in the Faculty of Medicine and Health 
 Sciences\, to pursue research and scholarly activity in HSE. It is expecte
 d that the Cruess Faculty Scholar will spend a minimum of one day per week
  at the Institute of Health Sciences Education (IHSE)\, participating in I
 HSE activities and pursuing research in health sciences education.\n	\n	Dead
 line for Applications\n	The deadline for applications is January 31\, 2021\
 , for funds to be awarded as of September 1\, 2021.\n	\n	Application Process
 \n	To apply\, please submit: (1) a copy of your CV\; (2) a one-page descrip
 tion of your activities and achievements in HSE to date\; (3) a two-page d
 escription of what you hope to achieve as a Cruess Faculty Scholar\, as we
 ll as your proposed topic of research and how you will contribute to the l
 ife of the Institute\; and (4) a letter of support from your Departmental 
 Chair.\n	\n	At the end of the year\, the Cruess Faculty Scholar is expected 
 to provide a written summary of their scholarly work\, present their resea
 rch to members of the Institute of Health Sciences Education\, and pursue
