 olly and Chelsea are 'unapologetically Indigenous\, unabashedly female & u
 nblinkingly nerdy'. Their podcast aims to review a sci-fi movie or televis
 ion episode featuring Indigenous people\, tropes and themes from a decolon
 ial perspective. They will be screening an episode of a classic science fi
 ction show giving some insightful commentary and opening the floor up for 
 a discussion with the audience which will be recorded and released as a fu
 ture episode. \n\nMovie munchies will be provided!\n\nThis event is free a
 nd open to the public but has limited space: RSVPs should be sent to indig
 enous.studies [at] mcgill.ca\n\nAbout the Hosts:Molly Swain is Métis from 
 Calgary\, living in amiskwaciwâskahikan and studying in the Faculty of Nat
 ive Studies at the University of Alberta. She is a member of the Student W
 orker Action Group (SWAG)\, and tries to spread the joys of anarky whereve
 r she goes. Her favourite science fiction is Star Trek: The Original Serie
 s\, much to the chagrin of her family\, who have resigned themselves to th

 lsea Vowel is Métis from the Plains Cree and Michif speaking community of 
 Lac Ste. Anne\, Alberta. Capable of transforming into a pigeon\, but vague

 e language curricula at the University of Alberta. Her favourite Science F
 iction is all the movies yet to be adapted from Octavia Butler's work. Als
