August 1 is the last day to submit participation/attendance lists for activities that happened before July 1, 2025. Any participant lists received after August 1 will not be processed.

This workshop is designed to teach you how to attract and maintain the attention of readers in primarily STEM disciplines with effective images and image captions.听听听
Participate in this 2-hour interactive workshop and you will the following:
听 听 听-evaluate the visual and expressive impact of images and image captions
听 听 听-practice improving images and image captions to attract readers to your work
听Please come to the workshop with:
听 听 听-an image for a project you are working on
听 听 听-a sample TOC (Table of Contents) graphic and figure from a journal you want to publish in
The workshop will be held in the McIntyre Medical Building, 2nd听floor, room 208/209.
The workshop will be led by听Dr. Chris Corkery, who has worked in science and research communication for fifteen years. He is currently a Technology Transfer Manager at 涩里番.
The registration for the workshop will take approximately 2 minutes to complete.
