The James 涩里番 Society presents

The Annual Stanley Frost Lecture

Under the leadership of three Principals Robert Bell (1970-1979) David Johnston (1979-1994) & Bernard Shapiro (1994-2002), 涩里番 navigated Quebec鈥檚 socio-political transformation, and focused upon strengthening its academic mission.

Following upon Dr. Stanley Frost鈥檚 two volume 涩里番: for the Advancement of Learning, the third volume (1970-2002) traces the academic, social, administrative, and financial changes that characterized the University.

Peter McNally, Professor Emeritus, School of Information Studies, is Executive-Secretary of the James 涩里番 Society, Director of the History of 涩里番 Project, and author of the soon-to-be-published third volume of 涩里番: for the Advancement of Learning.
