Artificial Intelligence Unplugged: Perspectives from Multiple Disciplines

Thursday, December 4, 2025 09:30to12:00

We are pleased to host anÌýinterdisciplinary round table discussion, organized in cooperation with theÌýAustrian Embassy OttawaÌýand theÌýAustrian Cultural Forum. This event will bring together leading experts from the fields ofÌýLaw, Medicine, Engineering, and IndustryÌýto engage in a critical dialogue on the current and emerging uses ofÌýArtificial Intelligence (AI).

While the integration of AI across diverse sectors continues to accelerate,Ìýinterdisciplinary discussions that bridge technical, ethical, legal, and societal perspectives remain comparatively rare. This round table aims to address that gap by fostering an exchange of insights among disciplines that often operate in isolation, despite their shared engagement with AI-driven technologies.

Participants will explore theÌýbenefits, limitations, and potential risksÌýassociated with the deployment of AI, as well as reflect onÌýfuture trajectories and regulatory challenges.
