 ment and describe their evolution.\n\nAbout the Brierley Lectures\n\nThis 
 lecture on arbitration commemorates the life and work of John E.C. Brierle
 y\, who was Professor and Dean of Law at ɬÀï·¬. He was a prominent figure
  in the discipline of comparative law internationally and the leading Cana
 dian expert on arbitration. \n\nThe John E.C. Brierley Memorial Lecture is
  presented by ɬÀï·¬ and its Research Team on Private Justice and the Rule
  of Law\, with the support of the John E.C. Brierley Memorial Lecture Fund
  established by Yves Fortier and with the participation of the L. Yves For
 tier Chair.\n\nA cocktail reception generously offered by Woods LLP will f
