DESCRIPTION:The Strategic Space Law course focuses on the legal and policy 
 considerations that surround the strategic uses of outer space.\n\nDescrip
 tion\n\nArmed forces have not had to comprehensively consider the applicat
 ion of law to the use of force and rules of engagement in outer space. Con
 flict in the space domain is now a possibility that cannot be dismissed\, 
 and this course provides a unique opportunity for lawyers and other profes
 sionals in the defense services\, international relations\, government\, i
 nternational organisations\, law firms\, consulting firms and industry aro
 und the world to study space law in a strategic context.\n\nThe Strategic 
 Space Law Course is a four-day intensive\, interdisciplinary\, internation
 al and interactive workshop held annually in Montreal\, Canada. Jointly or
 ganised by the Institute of Air and Space Law\, and Spectrum Space Securit
 y In.c\, the course features lectures delivered by world-class academics\,
  legal and policy advisors\, and subject-matter experts drawn from governm
 ent\, civil society and the commercial sector.\n\nThe 2020 edition program
  of the course will be delivered remotely and in condensed fashion. In 202
 1\, we hope to revert back to an extended\, in-person program that will co
 ver more topics\, practical team-building exercises\, and networking event
