Symposium on Agro-Environmental Modelling for Climate Resilient Soil, Water, & Crop Systems

Tuesday, April 7, 2026 09:30to16:30
Centennial Centre Ballroom, 21111 Lakeshore Road, St Anne de Bellevue, QC, H9X 3V9, CA

Dr. Zhiming Qi and associates invite you to attend our research Symposium on April 7th in the Centennial Ballroom from 9:30am – 4:30 pm.

This event is a kickoff for our recently awarded Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) grant and will showcase the supporting research for the project. Dr. Steve Evett, USDA-ARS Bushland-Texas Lab Director, will give a keynote talk on his lysimeter research; a fundamental pillar of the project.

We will cover 4 major research themes shared by our CFI grant:

  1. Integrated Agro-Environmental Modelling Frameworks
  2. Digital Soil Sensing and Hydraulic/Chemical Flows
  3. Sustainable Cropping Systems for Climate Resilience
  4. Current Climate Change Impacts on Cropping Systems

We hope that you are enthused about joining or observing our discussion around these topics. We are excited to host you and facilitate productive discussions around this research.
