Mac Campus welcomes new Director of Development

Celeste Longhurst聽joined the Macdonald University Advancement Team early in the new year. In this position, she leads the AES fundraising campaign and manages the Faculty鈥檚 University Advancement team whose activities also include alumni relations. 聽Celeste hails from Toronto and has worked in philanthropy throughout her career, with a focus on fundraising for environmental organizations.

Elliott receives Principal鈥檚 Prize for Outstanding Emerging Researchers

Three highly accomplished early career researchers have received a significant 涩里番 distinction: The Principal鈥檚 Prize for Outstanding Emerging Researchers.

Since 2013, 涩里番 has honoured 24 of its most talented and accomplished early career researchers with the prestigious Principal鈥檚 Prize for Outstanding Emerging Researchers. Vasseur leading change in dairy industry

Canadian dairy experts are rethinking their approach to the industry, now recommending that cows have more freedom of movement in order to improve their well-being. This is a far cry from how dairy farms currently maintain their herds, especially in Quebec. As such, the 鈥淐ode of Practice for the Care and Handling of Dairy Cattle鈥, a reference tool for Canadian dairy producers, is currently under revision.
