DESCRIPTION:On March 10\, 2026 at 6 PM ET\, join us for a hybrid workshop. 
 Taking place at the SKOL Centre (and online)\, we will discuss how to crea
 te and publish your work. We will focus specifically on publications relat
 ed to queer food\, but the strategies discussed will be applicable more br
 oadly.\n\nDuring the first part of the workshop\, Clare Lagomarsino\, the 
 founder of the small publisher Combos Press (which publishes Queer Earth F
 ood) will talk about publishing queer work about food (and beyond). Editor
 s of Queers at the Table\, Alex D. Ketchum and Megan J. Elias will also sp
 eak about working with trade publishers (such as Arsenal Pulp Press\, whic
 h published Queers at the Table) and touch on how working with trade publi
 shers differs than university presses. Bonnie J. Morris will speak about w
 riting for different kinds of publications.-\n\nDuring the second part of 
 the workshop Jackson Tucker will speak about creating zines and self publi
 shing. Attendees will then be guided through zine creation.\n\nIn-person a
 ttendees will be able to visit SKOL Centre's exhibition about Montreal's L
