  dedicated to understanding natural and managed ecosystems from molecular 
 to global scales. Our graduate students work within one or several discipl
 ines of basic and applied environmental sciences to solve problems related
  to sustainability\, biodiversity\, conservation\, and optimal management 
 of natural resources. Together\, we carry out innovative scientific resear
 ch to tackle agricultural and environmental problems.\n	\n	The Department of
