Furthermore\, any set with nearly minimal perimeter is geometrically close\, in a quantitative sense\, to a ball. Th is latter statement reflects the quantitative stability of balls with resp ect to the perimeter functional. We will discuss recent advances in quanti tative stability and applications in various contexts. The talk includes j oint work with several collaborators and will be accessible to a broad res earch audience.\n\nhttp://crm.umontreal.ca/colloque-sciences-mathematiques -quebec/index.html#csmq\n DTSTART:20221118T203000Z DTEND:20221118T213000Z LOCATION:Room 1104\, Burnside Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B9\, 805 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Robin Neumayer (Carnegie Mellon University) URL:/mathstat/channels/event/robin-neumayer-carnegie-m ellon-university-343179 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
