A prime example is the famous Li-Yau inequality\, which app lies to positive solutions of the classical heat equation. The growing int erest in the theory and applications of nonlocal diffusion models naturall y raises questions about analogues of Li-Yau-type inequalities in the nonl ocal setting. However\, despite many parallels between local and nonlocal diffusion models\, even the model case of fractional heat flow presents bo th conceptual and technical challenges. In my talk\, I will discuss recent progress on optimal differential Harnack bounds for fractional heat flow. In particular\, I will show how the structural properties of these estima tes offer new insights into classical results for the standard heat equati on.\n\nWhere: Pavillion André-Aisenstadt\, room 5183\, and by Zoom (see li nk below)\n\nJoin Zoom Meeting\n\nhttps://ulaval.zoom.us/j/68262601278?pwd =lbtfo8PdaxRUhaarNyb3ukauehOrFm.1\n\nMeeting ID: 682 6260 1278\n\nPasscode : 127830\n\n \n DTSTART:20250328T181500Z DTEND:20250328T191500Z SUMMARY:Mikolaj Sierzega (Cornell - University of Warsaw) URL:/mathstat/channels/event/mikolaj-sierzega-cornell- university-warsaw-364501 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
